Depending on your design, your custom piece may include natural or semi-precious gemstones, birthstones, names or initials, meaningful dates, engraved charms, special words or short messages, bracelet sizing, metal preferences, memorial details, or other meaningful elements.

Available options are based on the design, materials, and gemstone availability.

Variations in color, markings, pattern, texture, and shape are part of their natural beauty and character. Because of this, your finished piece may have subtle differences from photographs, samples, or previously created designs.

These variations are not considered imperfections—they are part of what makes your handcrafted piece uniquely yours.

Custom Order Timing

Custom jewelry requires additional time for consultation, material selection, personalization, and handcrafting.

Your estimated completion timeframe will be provided before your order is finalized. If your piece is intended for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, memorial, or another special date, please include that information with your request.

Custom Order Policy

Because custom jewelry is created specifically for you, please review the following before submitting your request.

Design & Availability
Custom-order requests are subject to design feasibility and the availability of gemstones, charms, metals, findings, and other materials. If a requested material is unavailable, alternative options may be offered for your consideration.

Design Approval
You are responsible for reviewing and approving your final design details before production begins. Please carefully verify names, initials, dates, spelling, sizing, engraving, gemstone selections, and other personalization details.

Pricing & Payment
Custom pricing is based on the final design, materials, personalization, and labor required. Your final price will be provided before production begins. Payment is required before materials are ordered or your custom piece enters production unless otherwise stated in your custom-order agreement.

Changes & Cancellations
Changes should be requested before final approval and production begins. Once materials have been ordered, engraving has begun, or your jewelry is in production, changes or cancellations may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

Personalized & Custom Orders
All sales are final. Shirley’s Designs does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds. This includes all custom and personalized orders.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an incorrect item or personalization due to an error by Shirley’s Designs, please contact info@shirleys-designs.com promptly with your order number and clear photographs so we can review the issue and assist you. Natural Gemstone Variations
Natural gemstones may vary in color, pattern, markings, texture, shape, and other characteristics. These natural variations are expected and are not considered defects.

Sizing
Please provide accurate measurements when requesting custom-sized jewelry. If resizing is possible after completion, additional material, labor, and shipping charges may apply.

Turnaround Time
Custom-order timelines vary depending on design complexity, material availability, personalization, and current order volume. Any timeframe provided is an estimate unless otherwise expressly agreed upon.

Shipping
Shipping time is separate from the custom-order production timeframe. Tracking information will be provided once your completed order ships. Applicable shipping charges will be confirmed with your order.
