Carefully enter the name, initials, date, affirmation, or message exactly as you would like it engraved.

Once your order is received, your jewelry is individually prepared, handcrafted, personalized, and carefully inspected.

5. Your Keepsake Begins Its Journey to You

Once completed, your jewelry is thoughtfully packaged and prepared for shipment.

A Note About Engraving Space

Every personalized piece has a different engraving area.

Smaller charms and components naturally accommodate fewer characters, while larger pieces may allow longer names, dates, or messages.

For the most beautiful result, shorter personalization is often best.

If the wording submitted is too long for the selected piece, we may contact you before completing your order.

We create your engraving based on the information you provide.

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact Shirley’s Designs as soon as possible. If personalization has not yet begun, we will do our best to accommodate your correction.

How Long Does Personalized Jewelry Take?

Beautiful details deserve time and care.

Personalized orders generally require 5–10 business days for processing and creation before shipment.

Processing time does not include shipping transit time.

If you are purchasing jewelry for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, or another special occasion, we recommend ordering early whenever possible.

Please remember that natural gemstones are not manufactured to look identical.

Color, veining, inclusions, markings, transparency, and pattern may vary naturally from stone to stone.

No. Personalization is available on select designs. Available personalization options will appear on the individual product page.

Can I request something that isn't listed?

Possibly. If you have an idea for personalization that isn't shown, please contact us before ordering. We can let you know whether your request can be accommodated.

Can I use a long message?

Engraving space varies by design. Short names, dates, initials, words, and brief messages generally produce the best results.

Can I combine gemstones and engraving?

When the selected design allows it, absolutely. Combining meaningful gemstones with engraving can create an especially personal keepsake.

Will my gemstone look exactly like the photograph?

Not necessarily. Because we work with natural gemstones, each stone can have its own color variations, patterns, markings, and characteristics. Your piece will have its own natural beauty.

Can personalized jewelry be returned or exchanged?

All sales are final. Shirley’s Designs does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds. Personalized and custom jewelry is included in this policy. If your item arrives damaged or defective, or you receive an incorrect item or personalization due to an error by Shirley’s Designs, please contact info@shirleys-designs.com promptly with your order number and clear photographs so we can review the issue and assist you.
